The Nutting Girl

The Nutting Girl (1981)
high voice and piano, with optional clarinet (or viola, or violin, or treble recorder, or flute)

This sparkling arrangement of an East of England folk-song has been a popular concert item for many years. With its cheeky and slightly suggestive good humour, and its variable performance options, it makes a perfect recital encore!
Performable just with piano accompaniment, this publication also includes an additional optional instrumental part: this was originally for clarinet, and parts are also included for flute or treble recorder, violin, and viola.
