This flexibly scored setting of the Preces and Responses was composed for a small church choir, with the Alto and Tenor parts largely identical, allowing it to be performed effectively in three parts when required. The timeless liturgical text is complemented by a musical language that honours the Anglican choral tradition while remaining fresh, accessible, and well suited to the needs of contemporary Evensong and general service use.
