Cantate Gloria (1999)
SATB unaccompanied
Suitable for Christmas and other festive occasions. The piece begins with an insistent, syncopated rhythm in the tenors and basses and is followed by a vigorous imitative section involving all four voices. The opening rhythmic pattern returns to bring the anthem to a triumphant close.
‘An exciting setting which would be a great encore at a Christmas concert’ – Gordon Appleton, Church Music Quarterly
