Alleluia (1991)
SATB unaccompanied
This lively and rhythmic setting has been performed by a number of choirs, and is suitable for both worship and concert situations. The journal Church Music Quarterly wrote: `An admirable choral flourish: the text consists of only two words, Alleluia and Gloria, and the composer has produced a fresh and original setting, full of rhythmic ingenuity’ .
Note: for some years a slightly shortened version of this was published. This is no longer available and the composer prefers the original version, as here.
