In such a night

In such a night (2011)
SATB and piano
This rich setting of an eighteenth-century poem, for SATB and piano, suggests the timeless calm of the night. Punctuated by tolling bells in the piano, it builds to a grand climax before subsiding into peacefulness again. It is the first movement of the cantata ‘Pictures of Night’  and it can stand on its own as a colourful concert item. Available separately
